Biography
Fred "Giles" Price is a cultured centre-back looking to cement his reputation in the side after a good debut season with M&Ms in which he improved more than any other player over the course of the fixture list. It is quite bizarre then that he has modelled his game on robo-striker Peter Crouch.
Fred's movie-star good-looks, tall stature and unassuming Mr Nice Guy public school demeanor has made him the wet-dream of the Mansfield/Merton female support ranks, supplanting the previous pin-up Sam "Perko" Perkins.
However according to recent Facebook updates, Fred is unsure whether or not he is gay. His boyfriend must be similarly confused.
Fred will run-over many strikers in his tractor this season and will continue to prove a threat from set-pieces... particularly if Wilko's novel idea of rugby lifting at corners is implemented.
On a sour-note Fred is no longer welcome at Wadham after a horrendous professional foul and several other serious infractions during a hard fought Cuppers match...
